How to Blog like a Boxing Champ

Although boxing is about strength and it requires being physically fit, a boxer must also be intelligent. He will not just punch with all his might, he must also have different strategies in order to win the fight. Apparently, it is quite easier than blogging in terms of competition because you have only one opponent to beat.

While the former looks bloody, blogging is also a tough battle since we are dealing with millions of blogs and many of them may have the same concept as yours. If you are going to ask how a trainer prepares his boxer, here are some of his tips that you can relate to blogging.

Study your opponent

A smart fighter will watch videos of his upcoming opponent to understand his strategies. In this way, he may find ways to anticipate the strength and find the weakness. He may also have an idea on what kind of approach he must do. As a blogger, you must view some blogs with the same topic as yours to know the chances that people will still like to visit your blog.

Draw the first blood

It always pays off to be ahead. That is why most boxers give their best shot right away during the first round. Problogger and Steve Pavlina are among the pioneers in their own style of blogging. This is one of the main reasons why they are now soaring high in this industry. Obviously, it is hard to catch up when you are in the least of the line. Discover a blogging strategy that you can be the inventor and make the most of it.

Have a knockout punch

A powerful boxer is known to have one-punch strength. By throwing his right or left solid punch, he can bring his opponent down to his knees and never be able to recover again. In blogging, you must be able to have that power to convince readers to keep coming back to your blog. Know what they want and give it to them with all your heart.

Impress the crowd

Although the scream of the fans does not increase the boxer’s points, it can add confidence especially when blood is already dripping from the eyebrow. The audience loves a never-say-die fighter who uses his strength until the end. A blog may have good content but it cannot attract readers, not because you are slow in promotion but due to dull design and a lot of ads that covers the posts.

No hitting below the belt

This is a general rule for boxing that is also applicable to all kinds of competition. Not that it can only badly hurt an opponent, but it also shows being unprofessional. In blogging, it is easy to destroy someone else’ reputation just to be popular. Crab mentality is one bad habit any blogger should not have. It is worst than plagiarism and the penalty is more than being just banned.

A true champion may not always win, but will never loose his spirit.
