How To Be a Better Blogger
Last week, a fellow blogger by the name of Rajeev Edmonds of mintBlogger.com requested me if he could be a guest blogger here. Upon browsing his blog and checking his style of writing, I am pleased to announce that I approved his entry.
So in this post, Rajeev shares some tips on becoming a better blogger.
How To Be a Better Blogger by Rajeev Edmonds
All successful bloggers have some common traits inherent in them, which helped them in becoming what they are today. Apart from the technical skills related to blogging, a blogger needs something extra to earn the reputation and respect in the blogosphere. The humane aspect of blogging is what makes the difference. Let’s see how to apply it in our blogging journey, and be a better blogger.
Opine Honestly
Never be artificial in your opinion about any topic. What you feel, just say it. Contrary to the popular belief that opining in casual way may drive away visitors, the reality is that if you are presenting your thoughts in your own way, readers are going to love it and appreciate it. What you feel should be in your post, not what the whole flock is saying about it in blogosphere.
Post Regularly
Subscribers love regular content. The more your subscriber count will inflate, the more pressure will be on you to deliver regular quality content. Create a posting schedule and follow it strictly. You must post at least 4-5 days a week. Remember, irregular posting pattern is the best way to loose subscribers.
Be Generous
Pay a visit to your own blog as a visitor and see what you have on offer for your valuable readers. This is the best way to assess the quality of your blog. Be generous, and give away some really useful content. Giving away freebies (eBooks, templates, plugins) is the best way to win the heart of the readers. Never force them to subscribe for getting any eBook. If your blog content is good, they will automatically subscribe.
Don’t Sell Crap
This is one of the biggest mistakes some bloggers do. If you are using your blog for affiliate marketing, you must keep few things in mind. Whatever affiliate program you choose, it must be relevant to your niche. Do not flood your blog with banners. Do not pitch about your affiliate products in every other blog post.
Learn From Criticism
Learn the art of taking criticism in a positive way. Nobody is perfect, and we all do mistakes. A critical acclamation of your work is the best way to learn and get admired. Your commentators are your best friends and their opinion counts. If a reader is making a point, acknowledge it and learn from it.
Over To You
Apart from technical stuff, what other things you apply in your blogging routine to become a better blogger?

Glad to see that my fellow bloggers enjoyed the post and got useful tips
You should definitely get your name out there by networking with other bloggers and by sharing your experiences. I would suggest joining at least one forum and being really active on it. As well, you should try commenting (serious conversation engagement!) on other blogs and really establish yourself.
Very nice collection of tips.
