I Now Own a Problogger Book
Yes, my dear readers. I now own a Problogger Book, and it is such a great honor to have one. Late last year, I proudly announced that I won a Problogger Book by sharing the Best Blogging Tip. It was from a contest at Kevin Muldoon’s forum. Kevin is the humble owner of Blogging Tips, who was kind enough to allow me to guest post on his blog for four times. Since then, my confidence in sharing blogging tips increased.
By the way, the judge was no less than the Problogger himself, Darren Rowse. It was such a privileged for me to be chosen. Actually, I already got the book some few months ago, but it is unfortunate that I have no time to read it thoroughly. However, I tried to took a peek on it and I would like to share to you some interesting things about it.
The first part is very inspiring, as Darren shares his blogging history from his start until he became a problogger – professional blogger. You will learn that all successful bloggers started from zero, and luck is not purely dependable. If you want to be successful, you must put focus on your goal and put your heart on it. There is no such thing as free lunch.
The succeeding parts contain tips on how to set up a blog, how to choose a domain name, and different types of making money out of a blog. However, emphasis was given that there is no easy way to do it as it takes time, understanding each strategies, and a lot of patience.
Being a subscriber of Problogger blog for almost 2 years taught me a lot of strategies, and I have tried some of his tips. But I think the best blogging tip that I learned and has been applying since I started blogging is the one that won me his Problogger book.
Different bloggers use different styles in promotion. They may be SEO, viral marketing, social networking, and others. But I truly believe that no matter how hard you promote your blog or has spent huge amount of money, all of them are useless if you don’t love your readers. Therefore, I still stand for my principle that the best blogging tip ever is to inspire others and be useful to them.
If you’re interested, you can read my own list of Blogging Tips as this topic is also one of my favorites.

I totally stand by this principle: “inspire others and be useful to them”. If you can do this, then you are on your road to achieving success with your blog, no matter what your motivation or goal is. The problem is that many bloggers ignore this such an important tip and prefer to worry more about SEO, Blog Design, Bells and whistles, than actually providing meaningful and valuable content, Enhance your readers experience, give them knowledge and that is all there is to it. Congrats with your book BTW
Hi Sir Angel,
We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Bloggers EB. Pwede po bang mahiram itong book na to? =)
Thanks for welcoming me in advance. I will bring the book, and let’s see what I can do.
See you there.
hi! this is really a very nice book,it helps me a lot, i friend also bought this book for us just last month and then i after reading a also shared the book to my friends and other pinoy bloggers.
Well, yes it is indeed a very useful book and I am glad you shared the book to others.
As for me, I gave it away to my mentor as a token of gratitude and I have no regrets.
