Father Blogger dot Com

As much as I want to be humble, I cannot help myself to be proud as Father Blogger dot com was chosen as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs of 2009 which was organized by Ms. Janet Toral last Saturday. The event was held at PAGCOR, Paranaque City, Philippines.

The dinner was wonderful and the ambiance was energetic. I met the older ones, and fresh faces as well. Although I was quite sad, since my partner Mon was not around as well as Jenaisle. Anyway, each of us was awarded with a plaque and a 5-minute speech opportunity.

Some were overwhelmed, while I try to calm myself as I took the chance to thank those who helped me when my wife and daughter had Dengue fever. I covered my emotions with ad-libs, as I cracked some jokes. But deep inside, my heart was crying with happiness and contentment.


As I have mentioned in my speech, I am now facing some financial problems and not sure if I can still pursue my passion for blogging. But here I am with the support of my new set of friends, sincere friends I should say. I wish I could mention all of them, but they were too many to mention. Some nominations even came from strangers whom I never met, which is really amazing since I don’t promote this blog that much anymore.

So if you’re one of them that I don’t know or have not yet thanked, please feel free to introduce your self here so I can just drop by to your blog and say thank you.
