This Christmas, the whole family is set to have a happy reunion especially for those who seldom see each other. All of us are excited to receive a gift somehow, and but happier to be able to give in the most we can.

Meanwhile, it is also a time to have some fun with the whole family. This includes having a big dinner, touring the neighborhood Christmas lights, and watching films together. You can also play family fun games such as Bingo.

Yes, Bingo is one of the favorite fun games for the whole family even here in the Philippines. It is the excitement during the game and the joy when someone wins that brings fun to the whole family.

However, it is considered as gambling since you have to spend money to buy cards and take the chance to win. This is why Bingo has been receiving a lot of condemnation from the Catholic church. Ironically, Bingo’s first motive is to help raise funds by a certain Catholic priest who approached Mr. Lowe. He is said to be a US toy salesman who named the game Bingo.

Nevertheless, I strongly advise fellow parents not to allow minors in joining them since it can be addictive. Being an adult, you should control yourself from compulsive gaming. Also be sure that you check your regular expenses, and realize that it is not a get rich quick scheme or to pay your debts.

In the end, playing Bingo is a personal choice and a form of entertainment. If it does not serve its purpose to you, then there are other ways to have fun with the whole family this Christmas.
