After more than 2 years of blogging, I am happy to announced that I now have a personal blog. I used my name Angel Cuala as the domain name so that my friends can easily remember it. I also decided to use the free hosting from Blogger, but I might switch to Wordpress later on.

Anyway, I created this 2 weeks ago and it has now 15 blog posts. I thought of making one since I want to share a lot of things but I am hesitant to place it here on my main blog. I want to dedicate all the contents here for parenting, marriage, and blogging tips only. Read more of this >>

Welcome to Part Three and the final chapter on how to promote a blog for beginners post series, and I think this is the most important part. But before we proceed, let me give you a recap on the previous parts.

In Part One, I discussed a bit about the principles of SEO, submitting articles to article directories, and some ways on how to start meeting fellow fellow bloggers. On the other hand, Part Two focused on being sociable as a blogger to promote a blog. The first two parts therefore, focus on spending time away from your blog. Although all of them are effective, but its success will still depend on you.

Here in Part Three, I will discuss on how to promote a blog without going elsewhere but only on your blog. Therefore, this post will focus on how you can manage your blog and use it as a promotion tool itself. Here in Part Two, I will focus of being sociable as a blogger. To promote a blog, it does not only require hard work and patience, but also the ability to convince visitors to read your blog. Simultaneously, these strategies will also a big help to increase your backlinks. However, they will make you busy so I suggest you also know how to manage your time.

After more than 2 years of blogging, I can say that I am still far from being an expert. However, I think I can already share some of my knowledge and experience on how to promote a blog especially for beginners. This is also with the help of the blogs I read as well as from the Darren Rowse’ Problogger Book which I won from a contest.

But I must remind you that promoting a blog effectively does not necessary mean that you will make good money, not unless you treat your blog as a business. Nevertheless, most high traffic blogs are making good money from advertisers and Google Adsense.

Yes, my dear readers. I now own a Problogger Book, and it is such a great honor to have one. Late last year, I proudly announced that I won a Problogger Book by sharing the Best Blogging Tip. It was from a contest at Kevin Muldoon’s forum. Kevin is the humble owner of Blogging Tips, who was kind enough to allow me to guest post on his blog for four times. Since then, my confidence in sharing blogging tips increased.

By the way, the judge was no less than the Problogger himself, Darren Rowse. It was such a privileged for me to be chosen. Actually, I already got the book some few months ago, but it is unfortunate that I have no time to read it thoroughly. If you are not new in this blog, you know that I don’t usually recommend products or sites that you can make money from. This is because I think this is not the right blog to do so. However, I also think it’s just fine to share to you my experience as a member of myLot. I have been a member for several months, but it’s only lately that I put extra effort to post.

Actually, it was Jenaisle who referred this site to me last year and I am glad she did. In myLot, one can make money from forum posting, and leaving comments on others posts.
