This is my first attempt to download a free e-book – The Ultimate Super Tip. If it was not recommended by Manuel Viloria, I will not even think about it. I am not a techie guy, and I heard a lot of stories about accounts being hacked. If this is not from a trusted source, I don’t mind being left behind. But still, I traced back its origin, and found out why I should have one.

When I finally realized that it is authentic and safe, I download it, and read it thoroughly. So what makes this 39-page e-book different from others? Well, besides it’s free, I was not obliged to submit any information about me. The book title is for real, as I found tons of helpful tips about Internet Marketing and making money online strategies. Inspire others, and be useful to them. This is the best strategy so far, even better than search engines and all the social sites you can find.

This is my official entry to Kevin Muldoon’s contest held recently on his Blogging Tips forum, in which the judge was no less than the Problogger himself, Darren Rowse. The contest was quite simple though. Contestants were asked to share his best blogging tip in 140 characters or less.

So what now if I won? Well, the Problogger book may be old to some but still is ageless to me. It was launched last April of this year, with Chris Garrett as the co-author. Obviously, I have Adsense on my blog. I started this blog four months ago, but I have 2 other blogs at Blogger that also have Adsense, and are more than one year old. However, I now seldom touch them since I am more focused on this blog.

But here’s the great news – I am now about to reach my first $100 from Adsense after more than 1 year of using it! Am I happy? Of course, I am. I worked for it somehow. But what am I driving at? Well, I think now is the right time for me to share my ideas about Adsense. So I hope you join me here, and let’s talk about it professionally.

Making good money from Adsense

It is given that a high-traffic blog has the greater chance of making good money from Adsense. Targeting the most searched keywords, and make series of posts about it is a very effective way. Adsense bloggers earned a lot from the recent US President election, and will earn again if they are blogging about the upcoming Pacquiao – De la Hoya fight. Product reviews is one way to make money online, and it really is. Some bloggers join sites like SponsoredReviews and gained some bucks from them. However, it is being avoided by others for the fear of penalty from Google. But if you are into affiliate marketing, you also need to make reviews for your products. Freelance writers also earn good money by submitting product reviews to different sites. I was hired for a couple of times, and my client was generous enough to give me some tips.

Two days ago, my blogging partner Mon and I attended a free Internet marketing seminar at the University of Sto. Tomas, Manila, Philippines which I learned through Manuel Viloria. Anyway, the seminar was entitled How to Make Money and Lucrative Job or Career Online. The speaker was no other than the Internet Marketing guru himself – Joel Christopher Remandaban. The rain was very heavy and I traveled for more than 4 hours since the place is around 75 kilometers away from home. But still, I managed to arrive around 10 minutes before the scheduled time 6pm. Mon arrived earlier, though.

The seminar encountered some mysterious troubles, but Joel was not affected. As he joked, Murphy was there, referring to Murphy’s Law – If anything can go wrong, it will. He entertained us for a moment by asking how we knew about it, where we came from, and others. While his team is arranging the set up, attendees were arriving from different status in life including UST students, deans from different departments and average businessmen. Holding a contest in a blog is a good way to increase subscribers, links and even traffic. I see nothing wrong with it especially if the prize is attractive such as cash. In fact, I ran a small one when I was still a member of Entrecard, and even joined some. Luckily, I won some ad space and an interview that I will never forget.

However, bloggers especially newbies should be aware that some of them may be scam. Although it may look hard to detect which one is scam or not, one should only have some common sense to be smart enough. Making good money out of blogging may be the most popular topic one can find, and there are hundreds or even thousand bloggers who are teaching us how to do it. But why are we not achieving it?

If you will notice, I used the term we since I am also in the same situation. So if you expecting me to give you some good sites to join in, sorry I cannot share one right now although I know some.
